"I truly felt that my education was in good hands; I wasn't the only one worried or concerned about it. And the environment is a healthy one. So far so good!"

"Nearly everything in my program can be considered a "pro." The one area that I struggled with was workload. I knew going into the program, especially a doc program, that the work would be demanding. I struggled to keep up because I didn't have the support I needed at home. I'm happy to say I'm in my third (and hopefully final) year, which is the dissertation writing."

"U of R offers a way for me to attend school while working a demanding full time job, without being online base, which was critical for me."

" The MBA program has an all-star set of instructors; these instructors have both experience and pedagogy acumen. Their anecdotal information adds a nice floss to a refined and current business program. Cons: The social scene is nearly dead. Most of the students in my classes have families and are career oriented. This is a double edge sword. On the plus side, there is networking and seriousness. On the downside, the comedic relief is loathsome. Only serious business minded folk need enroll, and Redlands does deliver the skills to pay the bills, and some."

"The program is remarkablly relevant and real-world, taught be professors who have applicable experience within their respective fields of study. If there are any "cons" regarding the program, it would be that it is fast! The accelerated program at the San Diego sister campus has students navigating each course, one at a time, in about 8 weeks."

"The program allowed me to get a position prior to actually graduating. I was very prepared."

"This program allows students to start practice - under a very thorough supervision of professors - from the very beginning. The theory never separate from practice. All the professors have decades of practice and many are authors of leading theories in the field. The school is very small what creates a family-like atmosphere with help available for any possible issue. I did not find any cons in this wonderful school."

"The University of Redlands graduate program is geared toward the working professional. The adjunct professors offer up to date and relevant examples that assist the student not only in a class scenario, but in his/her current employment position. I have been enrolled in this school for three months, and am in my second course. I have not cons towards the program at this time."

"University of Redlands was instrumental in my career development. I was directed to do as many internships as possible and develop a good portfolio. Upon graduation I had three related job offers in a highly competitive advertising field in a slow hiring period. A university alumni paved the way for the job that I ultimately took. I was working 2 weeks after graduating. I went on to open my own advertising agency that was successful for 13 years, until I moved out of state and closed my business."

"I love this program, but it is not easy. There is a heavy workload despite the fact that we attend class only once a week for four hours. Most of my free time outside of work is spent studying. However, the professors are good, and accessible, and the classmates are very supportive of each other. The only con is the cost - $40k for two years, but from my research that is a fairly standard price for an MBA! I highly recommend this challenging, yet rewarding, program!"

"Pros: Most of the professors are knowledgeable and provide great feedback on assignments. Most are accessible by email and have a quick response. I feel that overall quality of instruction is good and I would recommend to a friend or colleague. Cons: I personally did not have any problems with Financial Aid, but I knew of people who did. I had to stay proactive with my advising sheet, transcripts, and term schedules to ensure I graduated on time due to classes not being offered or having last minute changes. Books were too expensive, rent the book and then decide if you want to purchase for your own library, plus some were not used to its full potential. Overall rating would be a high rating, just stay proactive and learn about what the college offers."

"This is an excellent program for anyone interested in becoming a school counselor. The work is challenging but pertinent to the career and is intended to prepare the student for the real world of counseling in K-16 environment. The professors and advisors are involved and knowledgeable. It is apparent that they want what is best for their students and want a well organized program."

"University of Redlands is more focused on the undergraduate students, so graduate students don't get to take advantage of many things undergrads do-- i.e. on-campus counseling, gym, etc. The hours of the school also revolve around the undergrads, so when they are on spring break many of the hours for necessary things (like library and cafeteria) are different and not available for grad students that are on campus late. Working with financial aid has been a hassle and adjusting my schedule is more difficult than it should be. Despite those things, U of R is a great school and I'm very happy with my graduate program."

"I really enjoy my graduate program because the professors's are approachable and I feel that I have learned a great deal since I began the program. Also, I like how we are able to begin our interenship the second semester because I feel that the hands on experience helps me better understand the material I am being taught in class. One of the cons is the cost of graduate program because since Redlands is a private university the cost is much more than a Cal State. On another note, I really like having smaller classrooms because I feel like I learn better in a smaller class setting where if I went to a Cal State school the classroom would be much larger."
