"This college is nice for students that like a college town. There is not much to do but it does keep you focused on school. The teachers are helpful and there are tutoring options. There is also a transient system called the Jag Trans. It is good to go to the student center for all your needs."

"I attended The University of South Alabama from August 2006 to May 2008. I graduated with a Master of Arts in Public Administration. I was very proud of myself and I enjoyed my studies greatly. The campus was good and my professors were great. They had a strong knowledge of their subject matter and were excellent teachers."

"South Alabama is a great place to get your degree in Occupational Therapy. If you're looking for a family atmosphere, quality education, and professors that know your name and care about your success, then South is the place for you! Research is an important part of the curriculum, as is hands on practice. We have cadaver labs, ADL labs, media labs, technology labs, and tons of other resources available to students and loads of field work opportunities. I highly recommend checking out South Alabama for your Masters of Occupational Therapy."

"Not an impressive alma mater to have, but a decent education. The English department is better than it has any right to be because the job market for academics is so poor right now. South has a lot of talented people."

"The physical therapy program at South Alabama is a competitive, enriching academic environment. Our faculty vary in specialty in order to ensure that they students graduate as a generalist. The research opportunities are second to none for those interested. The PT department has a Motion Analysis Lab and BTE in order to provide high quality data and testing."

"USA is a great university in a great city. Most professors in the Mitchell College of Business at USA held Ph.D.s in their field and most also had industry experience. Classes were small and personable. I was inspired by them to continue my education and have been extremely successful as a result."

"The DPT program at South Alabama is excellent. The instructors are very experienced and down to earth. They take time to break down difficult concepts in class, gracefully answer all content related questions, and provide effective instruction in lab. Additionally, the cost of the program is much lower than comparable programs in the region, and the cost of living of the city in which it is located--Mobile, AL-- is fairly reasonable."

"I've only been in the program for three months, and I have already learned a lot. I know that I will be prepared when I start seeing patients. My teachers are approachable and seem to love what they do. I do think that the program can be a bit unorganized at times."

"My graduate program is a small program and that is both a pro and con. We are well integrated and work within different departments, but on the other hand it is difficult to have the benefits of a large medical school."

"This is a great and competitive program. However, they have been having issues with faculty retention rate. We have lost a few faculty members which has negatively affected our program for the first year students. We have professors teaching subjects that they are not really qualified to teach. Furthermore, financial aid is difficult to come by and there is not much diversity within the program. Nevertheless, it is a challenging program that will push you to learn the material and hopefully become a great physical therapist upon graduation."
