"Although the campus and area is nice enough, it also rests on a very steep hill. Mainly the core subjects will be taught in the main part of campus. The College of Engineering & Computing buildings have a major train problem."

"The college is under developed, unorganized and treat doctoral students badly. Their financial packages are also not competitive. You will leave the college unprepared to compete with PhDs from other schools. There are a few good professors who should leave the college."

"College was a great time for me. I really learned to come out of my shell and how to live on my own. I had never had the experiences that I had in college before, so I learned how to deal with keeping a schedule and making appointments, etc. You also learn that networking is crucial to being successful in the real world. College is like a real world simulator."

"Carolina was a great institute, but bear in mind that you get out of it what you put into it. You can get a degree by taking easy professors and classes or truly earn your degree by taking challenging courses under a really great faculty."

"Engineering school is great. Plenty of resources. The advisors weren't as much help but the staff is willing to helping you go after it. They also worked really well with my financial situation. The school as a whole is run well and in a great place. Lots to do and lots of people to meet. They have recently updated many of the dorms. I'm very happy with my time at USC."

"I had an amazing experience! I was part of the Honors College and so my experience had the feel of a smaller tight-knit community with all the resources of a large state university. It was a bit of a culture shock moving to the south but you learn to navigate social rules pretty quickly."
