"I attended the University of South Carolina-Upstate, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. The program itself was amazing. I loved the small group atmosphere that offered more individualized instruction. I attended classes at the Sumter campus, which meant they were hybrid or satellite classes that were taking with other students at the Spartanburg or Upstate campus. Everyone involved my college education from instructors, admissions, advisors, and financial aid went above and beyond to ensure that my college experience was a great one! My practicum experiences provided many meaningful, hands-on experiences that prepared me for my career as an educator. I would highly recommend this program to anyone interested in earning a degree in Early Childhood Education."

"USC-School of Medicine Greenville was opened 3 years ago and is currently undergoing accreditation. Although officially it is not accredited, all the committees and staff who have come for accreditation meetings have stated that there should be no problem of this school being accredited by the time the first class graduated (2016). Overall my experience in the past 2 years here have been positive. As a new school, there have been some bumps in the road, but there have also been great opportunities for the students to get involved. The admissions staff encourages all students to voice their opinion about the curriculum and program here and we all have a chance to make an impact on what goes on. The teachers and administration are always willing to help and have developed an enriching program and environment for the students. A strong emphasis is put on "life style medicine" which is only one example of how innovative this school is. As students we are also challenged to be a part of the local community and we have all become certified EMTs to get early patient encounters. The school practices an integrative approach, which is both intellectually stimulating and challenging. It truly is a new way of medicine."
