"The campus is gorgeous. The teachers were generally friendly and didn't waste much time. There are a lot of clubs and activities constantly happening, so it's hard to be bored. There isn't any Greek life. It's a pretty small campus compared to most universities."

"The University of South Florida St. Pete campus is great. The people who work in the office to help students succeed are wonderful and so is the faculty. The teachers are great at understanding when a family difficulty comes along and most professors will be flexible with your work and help you when you need it if you are a student that actually does your work and shows up on time. The campus cops help out a lot too with making students feel protected. Overall, the campus is well put together."

"The pros are the interactions and engagements we have the opportunity to be a part of. We are able to not only get the textbook education but are encouraged to take part in research experience in the professor's labs, or even get clinical experience from a health care professional to really help facilitate the educative resources. The cons would be that there is only a research focus for this Graduate program at USFSP. I think it would be more beneficial to have the program focus on both aspects, clinical and research, to have a more well-rounded and comprehensive approach to the field of psychology."

"I love USF. Many students take for granted what USF has to offer. I thought the school wasnt for me and transferred to a smaller school more north. Biggest mistake, i never realized how many activities USF offered and how great the university truly was. School spirit is great, there are MANY intramurals and clubs to join, and there is always something to do or people to meet at USF. The campus is very nice and you live in Tampa, one of the most awesome cities! I am going back to USF next year because I miss it so much. People who write bad reviews are probably the close minded people who dont make any effort to join clubs and expect people to come knocking on their door asking to be best friends. This really is a great school, do no take it for granted."

"I have just finished my first classes in the English Education program at USF St. Petersburg. I feel that this class (representing the program) was both interesting, well balanced, and informative. I think that the quality of instructors and instruction is high in the English Education program. The instructors take their work seriously and provide room for growth and retrospection. However, I feel that the program is very expensive. I am awaiting graduate orientation, but have so far not received any personalized help in applying for financial aid nor guidance in the program."

"The pros of my graduate program are the size of the classes. The classes are smaller so it is easier to interact with the professor. Also, the professors are very knowledgeable and accessible, they are always willing to help you and work with your schedule. Also the program offers on campus and online classes, which is a good combination and gives us more flexibility. The cons of the graduate program is that the classes every semester are very few and one class that is required is only offered in the fall, which makes it hard to create your class schedule because you have to be mindful that some classes that you need are only offered once a year."

"Pros of completing a graduate program include the gain of knowledge and experience in your specific field of study. It really prepares you for the fine-tuned details that you will discover in the work place. Cons are the cost of attendance!"

"This program features small class sizes, allowing for professors and students to actually build relationships that can last throughout several courses. On the downside, the program is rather small, and so the course selection is not exactly plentiful. At some point, you will take courses you have no interest in simply because there is nothing else available."

"The pros of my graduate program are that classes are small and some can be completed online and on campus. The cons are the necessary classes aren't offered year round and the final internship interferes with employment."

"This school is small enough that it is fairly easy to get assistance when needed. The work is aligned with the Florida Principal Standards, but I would like to see a focus on real, practical application for what tasks the job will entail."

"This is a wonderful program with excellent professors for those who, like myself, plan on pursuing a Ph.D. I feel very prepared for the world of academia thanks to the rigorous research and writing component of the MLA program, and I was able to focus my studies in the area of Political Science, making me more competitive to post-grad programs - I will already be qualified to teach at the university level. This will help me when applying to nationally ranked fully-funded Ph.D. programs, and I am very excited about that!"

"This is a very rigorous program that expects you to apply your knowledge from you classes into your own classroom teaching. I have learned and grown as an educator through this program and I plan to continue on to completion."

"This campus is very well situated. It is located in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg. The lakes and other water bodies create a beautiful scenery. The Dali museum is also just a few minutes walk from campus. I love this campus!"

"The MBA program at USFSP is very convenient as I work and have family in the area. They offer night and online classes to accommodate working students. They also offer various opportunities to travel abroad adding more value to the MBA experience. The campus is beautiful as it has a very relaxed and peaceful scenery while offering many outdoor activities. I feel that the area of Financial Aid for graduate students should be focused on more. It would be great if more scholarships, grants and fellowships were offered to graduate students in need. Overall, it is a great program that allows working students to succeed as well as provides assistance in current and future careers."

"My program is great because it is specifically for students who do not have a background in education, which enables me to essentially obtain my Bachelors and Masters in one. The con of this is that some of the concepts discussed are unfamiliar to students like me with no experience in education. The professors are very helpful and the school's administration is easy to work with and accessible."

"The affordability of my graduate program, and the proximity to home were key factors in selecting my graduate school. The small campus environment and the faculty support turned out to be bonuses. I was thrilled with the individualized attention afforded by the small class size. I was able to finish my program, while working full-time, in 2 years. I did not qualify for scholarships from the university because I didn't have time to join clubs and participate in campus life. As an adult student who needed to work throughout graduate school, I knew I would have to take student loans. I chose to take the loans, complete the degree, and use any future earnings increase to pay my loan debt."
