"This school is a scam. I took one class which was paid for by financial aid. I notified my advisor that I wanted to withdraw due to changes in my work schedule. My advisor told me that I was in good standing and owed nothing. When I saw a balance on my account I call financial aid to see why there was a balance, I was told that the school is charging me because I didn't complete 66% of the course. This is not true because I completed the class and received an A. they ate charging me $1021.00. How can they charge me when I completed the class and it was paid for by financial aid. I will see who I can have to talk about this issue. I owe them nothing because I followed the proper protocol as far as withdrawing plus the advisor told me I didn't know anything."

"I obtained my Masters degree from the University of the Rockies in 2011 and now I am currently enrolled in the PsyD program at the University of the Rockies. The instructors are very knowledgeable and challenge students to put thought into any assignments or discussion postings made. Instructors give feedback and reply in a timely matter for any questions that arise during each week. The ability to take courses online allows for a student to do assignments in his/her own time frame as long as they are turned in by the due date, which is nice as a working parent."

"Great school! I had an amazing experience and can truly say that UofR is a top notch school with excellent professors. I would highly recommend this school to anyone seeking to challenge themselves to learn and grow as a scholar and as person. Rockies is worth it!"

"I would rate this college as a C. It has all the stuff to get you a degree in Psychology. Is it the best program? Not by a long shot. It does not prepare you to write the dissertation and does not give you a sturdy foundation in research. I completed all the course work for Psychology/ Criminal Justice and I believe they need more research classes since a PsyD is a research based degree. The beginning of the program was well organized and seemed to go smoothly. I am in dissertation phase and it seems be an issue with not enough experienced professors available to choose from. I was told I have one choice in my field of interest and it's not working out so I have to make some adjustments. I think choice is important. It is a very short list to go from and I am not feeling the love right now. Those in organizational leadership seem to get way more attention by the school and that seems to be what they specialize in. Seems like as soon as the dissertation started the help stopped. Seems like you are completely on your own for this. This is not what I was promised when I enrolled in the program. Not like I can change schools now. I would if I could. The program is not the best one to take if you have time to enroll in a university and attend real classes. If you want APA accreditation Online there is only one University that offers a Hybrid program and that is Fielding. You need to meet in the community once a month and do your program online. Lots of people complain about this. So I figured I would address it. Only the main school campus can get APA accreditation and if that was what I was doing I would enroll in a school that was already accredited rather than one that isn't accredited yet. I did read some unfair remarks in these reviews. One was that you cannot transfer credits. That's not true the college is accredited. You can transfer credits to other Universities... it is just not worth it if you are far along in the program as other universities do not take all your credits. There are limits to what you can transfer. Over all I would like a better situation but this school will get the job done eventually just wish it was put together correctly prior to my enrolling. Being a white rat kinda bites!!!"

"Good school. Learned a lot. I would recommend this school. You will learn a great deal online and then evenn more during your residence. Comparatively the cost is appropriate. It is also one of the only schools that offers a PsyD program with an emphasis in criminology and forensic studies."
