"The University of the Sciences is a school of academic excellence. Not a party school AT ALL! Most who come thinking they can pull all nighters and not study; tend to flunk out within the first 1-2 semesters. I would not recommend it to anyone who plans on switching majors many times or has problems with being self motivated to study and work proactively; due to the fact that the school is nearly 40,000 per year for out of state students. I will say however, that the education you received is impeccable. You have a few (weed you out courses) like General Chemistry 101, and Organic Chemistry but the amount of material you learn and retain and can recollect is astonishing! Your complete education is geared towards your future career. And the schools takes it upon themselves to throw you into some different types of classes to help you become more well-rounded. The school is health professions driven so if you know you want to do something like physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician's assistant, or the holy grail of USP PHARMACY you should really look further into their programs. Ranked one of the highest and oldest pharmacy schools in the country degree's from USciences are well respected and almost all graduates who try and find jobs or further education within their major obtain them within 0-9 months after graduation. The sports are picking up more and more as is the greek life. However the school makes sure that academics come before anything, after all they are training tomorrows doctors, pharmacist, PA's, NP's etc. Just a glance of what you receive at USciences- I came into school Pre-Med undeclared, exited with 2 bachelors done in 5 years and a certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist with the American Society of Clinical Pathology. My closest friends include- a physician assistant who practices neurosurgery, a pharmacist, a physical therapist, and a infectious disease control microbiologist... I basically have someone from every part of a hospital on speed dial! Oh and I forgot with my being a Delaware native-70k of student loan debt! Overall GREAT SCHOOL, but you have to PAY for their QUALITY!"
