"I have completed more than 50 % of my Master in Nursing degree at the University of Washington in Bothell. The instructors are fantastic with a wide variety of teaching styles and class structures. The instructors are racially diverse and we have a diverse student population as well. The only thing I have disliked is the amount of group paper writing and group work. Even though group work has its benefits such as practice with conflict resolution, I get tired of depending on others when my grade is at stake. With that said I still have a very high GPA. The campus is beautiful, laid back and has very easily accessible parking and classrooms. Advisors are fairly accessible and the nursing department is responsive. My favorite part of the program is flexibility in course selection. We have alternative choice tracts, electives and can specialize/ focus our program to individual desires. For example, I was able to do a global study abroad trip this summer and all the credits were applicable to my degree. I was able to experience health care and nursing in an incredible environment in a third world country while working on my degree. Finally, my very favorite part of this program has been my cohort. I am not sure if I just got lucky but my classmates are amazing people that I look forward to seeing in class and I am sure will be life long friends."

"The faculty has been amazing, I feel they are top-notch. Incredibly accessible. Since I don't live on campus it is hard for me to know what campus life is like."

"I considered an online Master of Nursing because it would be more affordable, but I'm so glad I chose UW-Bothell! The instructor quality and support is phenomenal, the cohort model is great for networking with peers and growth through the program, and the class content provides excellent preparation for educators and program development. I don't have a single bad thing to say about the program!"

"My program is extremely fast paced and challenging. As I learn things I have never known before and gained lots of new experiences on campus, I am really pleased. The support from teachers is amazing and the only cons I'd leave is the work load and the amount time spent on homework."

"The MN program is part-time, allowing me to continue to work as an oncology nurse and nursing teacher. It is advantageous to have a flexible school schedule so that I can work to pay for school out of pocket. One challenge of the program is that the program is being developed this year, some classes are being combined and other classes are being added. Because I will have progressed by this time, I won't have the benefit of those additional classes required by the accreditation agency."
