"University of Washington is an excellent choice for midwifery with a highly competitive application and a rigorous curriculum. My experiences have definitely impacted my ability to care for my patients and further my career. I highly recommend this school, but it's not for everyone. The city is expensive, and the culture can be difficult to assimilate into. It's also not that family friendly because of the expense, so a relocation could be stressful."

"Tips on writing a complete review: University of Washington has given me the chance to open my mind to a different city and lifestyle that will not assist my growth as an individual, but guide my path to becoming a knowledgeable ARNP. I chose UW because the curriculum had classes that other schools didn't. Also, UW is a diverse school in which I needed, coming from a Latin cultured-city across the country."

"I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice in the Certified Nurse Midwifery Track. There are so many pros about this particular program. First, we are all Registered Nurses this means we automatically come from a common background that is vast and diverse. This makes for exceptional conversations and team work that is tolerable! We also meet on campus every other week, making commutes bearable. Which leads to cons, parking on campus is a nightmare and should be avoided at all costs. Public transit is a wonderful and very accessible alternative but you have to be willing to allow a bit more time and to face the weather. Secondly the hybrid class format can be a challenge as all the professors use canvas differently, making it difficult to find the exact information you are looking for any easy to miss vital data. All in all, I'm thrilled to be a Husky Nurse and find the cons to be little more than inconveniences and annoyances."
