"I received a great, well-rounded education at a top-notch university. It motivated me to move onto further my education working in the social service arena (I went on to get a master's degree in Counseling/Psychology). The campus is beautiful and the staff excellent. I highly suggest doing an internship during your senior year. I received financial aid all 4 years I attended."

"Quality of teachers and instruction are mostly stellar. Student-to-teacher ratio can be disappointing the first year or two. You must be proactively pursuing resources to find the aid or advice needed for your particular major, research or internship opportunities related to your career goals, or to find alternate sources of funding. With a school this large, this can often be an overwhelming process to find the who, what, where for each item of concern."

"The UW is a great school, but I only experienced a small slice of it: the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, where the teachers and courses were excellent, the other students smart and engaging, and the facilities top-notch."

"I definitely appreciated the smaller classes with more discussion and hands on learning. It is very important to know your learning style & find a school that fits your needs. It's silly to go to a school where you are 1 of 1,000+ in a lecture hall when you are a hands on learner like myself. I learned the hard way!"

"The professors in the program were actively involved in the field, which is very important since CompLing is constantly evolving. I thought the profs were excellent, and the material covered was relevant and widely applicable to various sub-disciplines. I did dislike the cost of tuition; it's more expensive than other UW graduate degrees. That said, because of the degree, I now have an excellent job, so the cost ended up being worth it."

"University was a time of self discovery and exploring new ideas. Developing good studying and learning techniques will benefit you in which ever direction you decide to follow in life."

"This new program is designed for full time professionals who work in the Supply Chain Field. It is a two year commitment with courses year round. There is one required week of residency in the beginning of the program that is perfect for allowing you to network with other professionals and the advisory board. Because the rest of the course is online I do not know social scene of the university, it is a non-issue because everyone in the program works full time. The facility is very quick to address issues and questions and work with you to continue your educational goals. You can expect to commit an average of 10 hours a week to the course. I highly recommend it as it is perfect for people who work, want to network with other professionals, and earn a masters degree.Read Less"

"UW is a great school, lots of opportunities to meet new people and make connections, but I feel like the work load for students in Biology is so high that you don't really get a chance to take advantage of those opportunities. You learn a lot, but if you don't make the right connections, then your degree won't really get you a job on it's own. It really is all about who you know when looking for employment."

"The school's admissions office staff were awesome and went above and beyond to help me out."

"There were some great classes and there were some classes that were not very good. Most of the classes were very large and you spent part of the time in the large class being taught by the professors and part of the time in a smaller class setting being led by a teacher's assistant. There are a lot of resources available to help you succeed and figure out what you want to do after you graduate so make sure to check those out."

"It was hard to navigate if you aren't sure what you want to do or are slightly out of the box, but there are a lot of options once you figure it out. Great campus, a lot of good professors and programs. The informatics program was really good training for my field."
