"The faculty is not very helpful or supportive and you have to figure out everything on your own."

"University of West Georgia offer several programs, The programs are flexible and they work well with students who are also employed full time. I feel that they could do better with communicating with students."

"The faculty of the University of West Georgia's Psychology department is unique and exceptionally talented. The town of Carrollton is quite small, thus, finding legitimate income to fund your academic efforts is a challenge."

"The Educational Leadership program is very focused on the demonstration of competencies that will make you a successful administrator. The assignments are purposefully selected to meanfully integrate the components of the program into your job. The only drawback is the location (Carrollton just can't offer what Atlanta does) and their financial aid office doesn't do a good job of advertising aid to graduate students."

"My graduate experience has been one I will never forget. Though my workload has been much more than my undergraduate degree, my graduate work has been much more in-depth and meaningful to my future career plans. My experience is coming to an end at the end of the year and plan to begin work on my doctoral degree within the next five years, but I can honestly say I have worked harder and learned more in my two years of graduate school than my four and a half of basic undergraduate work."

"History department for the most part did not care for non-trad students, esp ones with previous degrees. Despite completion of requirements for a certificate in Public History was not allowed to apply after my last class completed then three years later was awarded it (with the wrong date since the college will not fix their error of not letting me evem apply for it). The reason was I could not earn a certifcate without a Masters -- despite the fact I entered the program with a Masters and using it to complement my Masters."
