"I loved my experience at the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire and I'm so glad I chose it for my undergraduate college experience. The quality of education, at least in the Exercise Science realm, was great and they gave us real, hands-on experience that helped in my career thereafter."

"For the price, I think that the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire is a good choice for people who are looking for a small university experience while still getting a high quality education. During my time there I was able to take a comprehensive list of classes that resulted in me receiving a high quality education that both enhanced my preparedness for working in the real world as well as just making me a better person."

"Being a computer science graduate at UW Eau Claire in the class of 2022 wasn't without its bumps in the road. Cycling through faculty each year, remote classes due to COVID, and AI starting to pop up didn't make it without its challenges. It's no UW Madison, but still all around a place with some interesting opportunities for research while in school and learning about CS generally well."

"I have nothing but amazing things to say about this program. The main goal of the program is to set students up for success in graduate school and as beginner behavior analysts-- but it does so much more. The professors inspire their classes every day to be scientists and good practitioners of behavior analysis so that we can benefit whatever community we decide to work in."

"The environment and community at UW-Eau Claire was wonderful. I had a wonderful experience and found that Eau Claire was a wonderful school with many options. The quality of instruction definitely ranged, as it would at any school, but overall I would say that I had a wonderful selection of instructors and found that most were helpful and willing to always put in the extra help if students needed it."

"UWEC was a wonderful undergraduate experience, a beautiful campus, and real sense of community. The campus is as big or as small as you want it to be depending in your participation in campus events and clubs. The city itself offers a wonderful college town experience. Class sizes are small with lectures and most labs being taught by professors- not TAs or graduate students. There is a lot of research collaboration between students and faculty, professors are approachable and want to help you succeed."

"The years that I spent in Eau Claire were some of the best years of my life. Along with meeting some of my best friends, the school and the city really changed my life. The campus has a relaxing, casual feel and the city is big enough that it doesn't revolve purely around the college. The university had everything I needed and I could always get help with anything in a timely manner. I met some of the most passionate professors at UWEC and I would highly recommend the school."

"My time at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire gave me a lot of opportunities to practice what I was studying outside of the classroom which helped me to integrate what I was learning in the classroom to the world that I would be working with. To me, this integration is important in education so that students can understand how the things that they are studying are reflective of the work that they do when they can apply the skills learned in the classroom to the community. Although there are still many things that can be improved at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, the opportunities that were given to me, have helped me to develop my professional skill set to where I felt confident when I started working after graduation to know I had competency to achieve my dreams of working with the community. For me, after graduation, that was becoming an English teacher in China. From the time I started in Eau Claire to the time I graduated, I took advantage of many volunteer opportunities, work on campus, internships, study abroad, research opportunities and travel opportunities that the school offered. For example, I was able to help improve my Spanish speaking skills through attending Spanish coffee hour, sometimes there were free clinics that I helped at as a volunteer and studying in Spain and living with a host family. For my social work program, I was was involved in one research project and one independent study, did an internship with the Girl Scouts and was able to volunteer with the ESL program at the Chippewa Valley Technical College as well as volunteering with the Hmong Mutual Association. All of these opportunities and more helped shaped my learning in the classroom to my work as I graduated school. Now, I am currently studying for my Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and looking back, I am thankful for the skills that I had gained at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire so that I can use it as a platform for the next phase of my career as a healthcare practitioner."

"Attending the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire was one of the best decisions I made. They make their on campus housing very inviting, which allows for a smooth transition from high school to college. The psychology faculty offer a wide range of interesting courses that can meet the interests of many students, whether they are psychology students or not. In addition to great class offerings, it is set on one of the most beautiful campuses in Wisconsin!"

"The social work education I received from UWEC was incredibly beneficial in guiding me to the career I now hold. From the wide range of backgrounds of the professors to the practical experience I received through my internship, I feel incredibly competent in my current social work role due to the knowledge and support I gained while in the BSW program."

"The staff and instructional interns are able to provide a wealth of knowledge within the scope of their practices. I have been enrolled in online courses at UWEC since the spring semester of 2015 and have yet to have a bad experience in any course. All of my professors have been extraordinarily organized, they answer questions rapidly and with accurate and useful feedback. I was recently admitted to their online part-time Master's Program in Communication Sciences and Disorders and am looking forward to my first residency beginning this summer. As a stay-at-home mom, the organization of the online programs fit perfectly into my life in order for me to achieve my dream of becoming a Speech Language Pathologist! I have been so impressed with the coursework expectations and skill level of my professors that UWEC is the only graduate program to which I applied."

"The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire is a great school to attend if you are receiving a degree in anything related to education. The professors care deeply about their students. The courses are structured to provide you with as much experience as possible within a classroom prior to graduation. The advisors do their best to ensure that the needs of their students are met. Tuition is affordable and there are many opportunities t to receive scholarships and additional financial assistance. UW-Eau Claire is an amazing school and I would recommend this school to anyone."

"I had a great experience here. The student to professor ratio was really good for all of my core courses and I had an easy time asking professors questions and catching them during office hours. So I was able to learn at the level I wanted and get good grades. There was also ample student research opportunities, on-campus jobs and on-campus activities. Beautiful campus situated on the Chippewa River."

"I thought it was a nice small, big school (not too big and overwhelming). Great campus that that was not too big and beautiful to walk through."

"My college experience taught me so much about who I am, who I want to be and who I want to surround myself with. Moving away from home was terrifying at first, not being around any of my family or friends, but it really brought me out of my shell. It made me more confident in who I am and helped me see who I wanted to be. I had an idea of what I wanted to do when I grew up, but that changed over the course of my time in college. Even if I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted to do, I learned what would likely not be a good fit for me. I now have a career that I love but would have never seen myself doing when I was in high school or college. It is amazing how you can change and how your life experiences provide you with the courage you need to take on challenges and try new things."

"Campus is beautiful, professors are mostly down to earth. City has good student night life. School doesn't have as many free things as other schools (ie. You have to pay to use the gym, buy your own printer paper(the rest of printing is free), etc.)"
