"The school has become a degree mill, especially in the MSW program. The tuition is outrageous, and there is absolutely no help as an intern by staff, unless something happens, and the job prospects are minimal in comparison to the 80 to 90k, at minimum, you are going to pay to receive this degree. If the school is certified by the Council on Social Work Education | CSWE, then it will be just as sufficient as the degree at USC. There are programs out there that are a fraction of the cost."

"Overall an excellent school rated in the top twenties nation wide. The msw program is very strong except for overly large students accepted. Most MSW schools accept 400 - 1000 students if the have an online school. USC allows 2500+ which detracts from the quality of it's education. Otherwise, recommended! Hopefully they will revise their acceptance numbers."

"The quality of the Nursing instructors is quite good as one would expect for the kind of money it costs to attend here. The quality of the actual online access portal etc is average, not good, not great there are notable improvements that could be made. The glaring problem that the USC FNP program has is its association with the School of Social Work. This is touted as a unique and beneficial feature but in actuality it is an albatross around the neck of an otherwise excellent program. You would think that with the coursework done in the name of "Social Work" you would go over government programs SSDI, OPA, Section 8 housing etc so that you could better understand your patient's potential issues. This is not done, instead a semester is spent going over "critical race theory" and various "feminist theories" that have nothing whatsoever to do with health care or nuts and bolts social work for that matter. There is one particular professor who has already developed a reputation, a well earned one for damaging GPAs semester after semester because she has a blatant disregard for the quality of her course. It is clear that she phones in her "lectures" provides meaningless "assignments" with largely unknown grading criteria. The "professor's" day job offers such services as "Dreambuilding" workshops and it's clear that her "teaching" is for resume padding/extra money. The unprofessionalism is staggering. So long as this nonsense is pushed on NURSING students I would unfortunately look elsewhere for programs. There are other programs that find clinical placements, there are other programs that have name recognition, there are far cheaper programs with a far longer history."

"This is an overpriced program for students who cannot get in to a program at a Cal State. The GRE is not required and they will take almost anyone just to make money. The internships are poorly supervised and the program does not prepare students for work in the field."

"I regret choosing this school for my masters. Very expensive and the average income of an LCSW is not very high relative to the loans you need to go to USC. Chose this college because I thought they were selective but that's only true for undergraduate programs. A lot of the msw students are not very intelligent and get accepted with GPA's as low as 2.7. Easy As are a standard throughout the program with minimal effort. Turned in one assignment not meeting the page requirement by about 3 pages and still received an A. Most students attend this MSW program to feel superior and do not accept it is not the same as going to Usc for a bachelors. They accept a lot of students into this program because its expensive and they know dumb msw students will pay to make themselves feel superior by attending this college."

"The social work program at USC introduced me to Evidence Based interventions, and as I went into my internship I felt well prepared working with my clients. I often was comllplimented on the knowledge that I possessed as a 1st year graduate student and I credit USC for that."

"As a mother of four, I knew that I couldn't go back to a traditional Nurse Practitioner program. I still needed to be able to take care of my children. The USC FNP program gave me the opportunity to pursue my Master's Degree from a top college, while still maintaining my responsibilities to my family. Even better, the program is virtual-based, so I still attend class with a teacher and peers, but I do not have to fight Los Angeles traffic."

"USC is a great school for anyone who is looking to gain the necessary skills to become a clinical social worker. I am currently attending USC and I absolutely love the program. The professors, staff, and my fellow students are fully engaged with the program. It's a great school!"

"My program gave me great exposure to issues I was passionate about and the opportunity to connect with peers from various backgrounds and perspectives. It is a very open major and your interests guide the classes that you will take. It's one of the most flexible programs available."

"I just recently began at Nursing@USC and so far the classes and student support have been fantastic. I feel like I am getting a very well-rounded education and I can see why they have the reputation that they do. They have definitely earned it. The program costs more than others I have looked at but I do feel like I am getting my money's worth."

"This program is amazing. You get a mentor who helps you achieve each goal you set for yourself. You learn a lot of valuable skills and gain essential experience. The downside is it is expensive but the quality of the program and education makes it worth it."

"Excellent course...in touch professors...highly involved advisors...highly recommended. if I decide to apply for a doctorate...this is the school to go to especially if you want to specialize in any type of military social work. The senior classes are geared to address any social work specialty you could want and is the only school to offer military specialty."
