"Utah Valley University was a great school! I love how the buildings are all connected, so you don't have to go outside! The Cuilnary program was really awesome! The program really helped me learn all the skills I needed to get into my career. The professors were all really nice and helpful."

"Utah Valley University was one of the best decisions I ever made! First, their scholarship program is awesome! I was awarded an Academic Merit Scholarship just for getting good grades in high school and a relatively decent score on the ACT--no other work required! You qualify automatically! And that scholarship covered ALL of my tuition for my bachelor's degree. Second, my professors were some of the coolest people I have ever met. Because of the smaller class sizes offered in my program (and many of the other programs as well), my professors were more like my friends. Don't get me wrong, they made me work hard, but they also made learning worthwhile--none of that "drone on behind a desk" lecture stuff that feels like a waste of your time. I'd recommend UVU to anyone! It's the fastest growing school in the state, and for a good reason!"

"I was instructed by some of the best Mathematical instructors I have ever seen. I was also given the pedagogical teaching knowledge that is the basis for a teacher to seek and ensure student learning. I was prepared for my profession and felt confident in beginning my career. I also found that even after I graduated I had the support of some of those amazing instructors They allowed me to contact them ask questions and join with them as a colleague in teaching professional development and associations."

"I felt very well prepared for my career in Elementary Education. The classes were applicable and the assignments were informative. The practicum experiences prepared me for my student teaching experience. My supervisor as I student taught, helped me to be reflective and improve. I loved my experience in the program."

"The campus is nice and new, but the school is overcrowded. It is a good school to start out with before transfering to another school."

"I believe my college experience prepared me to be a better citizen and reliable member of my community. The work load that was expected of me to accomplish helped me to take on multiple responsibilities in my home, neighborhood, and religious affiliation. In my mind college can only benefit you if the proper dedication and focus is applied."

"Utah Valley University has a large student body but the teachers treat their students very intimately. The professors really care about each student and you don't feel like just another number, like universities with the same number of students."

"It is tedious sometimes, but overall it is a great experience. Lots of what you learn you will forget, unless you're majoring in the subject, but it does teach discipline and the drive to finish something ( 4 year degree)"

"I attended two other Utah colleges before graduating from UVU. While I had a great college experience at all three colleges, UVU did the best job of preparing me to exit college. UVU did a great job of helping me to think beyond college and into my future. There was an emphasis in preparing for graduate school or for applying to jobs, as well as participating in out of class activities that look great on a resume or CV. I am so glad I was able to graduate from a school that cared enough to prepare me for the years beyond college."
