Degree: Cybersecurity

The degree was supposed to be a generic master of Cybersecurity But this degree was geared towards our critical infrastructure and they were no network classes when I took it. This degree did not help me and cost me $67000. The faculty was non existent most of the help came from your peers and teaching assistance. The school was horrible and very expensive. What a mistake!

I wish I would’ve read the reviews before attending! The faculty is not responsive and not there to help the students! They say that they have a one to one review process however when you ask they don’t deliver. I have a faculty member not put in grades for weeks even though the classes are 8 weeks. Exams are made up by the professors and materials not covered in the week’s lectures are on the exams/quizzes. Literally they are setting you up to fail. Please don’t go to this institution!

Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care)

Avoid this school at all costs. The director and team are egomaniacs and do not support the students. The tests are poorly done, the professors offer no help. They do have an appeal process only to say they have one. They will deny any wrongdoing even if you are a point below their 85 test/quiz average.

Read the reviews for the FNP program. I was drawn here by the promise of a hybrid program and the promise of support. THis was the worst mistake I have made and if I had not invested so much money in this program I would be attending somewhere else. I am just trying to get through. There is no support, you are basically self taught. if you have an issue and email a teacher, most do not get back to you. You are tested on material that you have not studied. Pharmacology, a class that is vitally important,... Read More

This is more like a teach yourself school. When I had an emergency family situation they were very uncaring and did not help me. I had to withdraw due to this family emergency and they still made me pay the bill even though I only attended 1 week of class. They do not want their students to exceed. Just want the money unfortunately. Teachers were lack luster and had no idea about the program when teaching and how it is run. I do not recommend spending all this money for this school. Degree: Data Science Masters

Horrible experience, most of the classes were very simple, except for the first and last classes. You can learn so much more from youtube about data science that this place. The program taught me very little, I learned almost all by myself with very little guidance, absolutely horrible. Most of the professors were a joke, they taught me very little.

I enrolled in the FNP program 3 years ago when it was just starting. I was intrigued by the online model, since it seemed easiest with a family and career. Huge mistake. Wish I would have transferred out. The other reviews are 100% true, this program is a money pitt. The tests are extremely difficult with no guidance from faculty. If you do poorly on one, you basically have no chance of passing. I've never struggled with school/college in my entire life, and this program is unrealistic. The weekly... Read More

I graduated in May and passed both ANCC and AANP the first try. I was prepared. I am doing good at my first job. I did not have trouble with the grading policy like is mentioned in some of the reviews. I think people see online and they think they can just buy the degree. I had to work hard, this program wasn't easy and they have high standards. Can't fake it till you make, I want to provide my patients wit the best care. I like that they had proctoring, I went to another online school for undergrad... Read More

Stay away ! The faculty will try their best to fail you! The passing rate for each class is 84% and if you fail the final exam , you fail the class. Absolutely no help! The exams are unreasonably difficult , so that you will have to retake the class again. I wish I paid attention to all the reviews. Save your money, time , and mental health !

Please stay away from this school's horrible NP program. The professors don't know how to teach. The tests do not line up with the cirriculum. The class average will be 77% and you need 84% to pass. The adminstration is equally horrible. STAY AWAY!!!

READ THE REVIEWS!!! I ignored all these reviews thinking about how great it will be and I wont have any problems... everyone assured me that the Health Sciences program will get me where I want to be etc etc. Well they lied and their website is incorrect, I currently reside almost 4 hours away from Utica and chose their online Health Sciences program which I was told was all online and will set me up for success into their MS Occupational Therapy program. WRONG, so $6,000 later, my mental health,... Read More

Review from a current student and RN manager: I am so beyond disappointed in Utica University . NOT a university for working parents or people with a busy lives ... seems like you need to know how to run a the bureaucratic side of a university in order to attend ... They have student success couches(ssc) who, as afar as I can tell, are only helpful if you want someone to pick out and register you for all your courses although they are at least nice people in that department. None of the departments... Read More

Fraud, the first word that comes to mind. As far as the St. Pete accelerated BSN program, you are enticed to come here and assisted every step of the way during the admission process. Once you're in, it's a sham. Everyone in this program already has a bachelors degree and met the prereqs. and admissions standards to get in, yet the transfer, withdrawal, and failure rate of each cohort is very high. As them for those stats. If you are o.k. with teaching yourself, never interacting with any instructors,... Read More

Okay, first let me start off by saying I NEVER in my life gave a bad review. I'm the type of person who notices I overpaid at the store, and I'd rather go home than deal with the fuss, just to give you an idea. With that said, I went into this program very optimistic, ready to prove all of the bad reviews wrong..boy, was I in for a surprise! This program has been nothing short of a nightmare from the start. I was convinced to attend this school based on false pretenses. I was told that the professors are always available to assist you if you need help. Don’t let them fool you. This school offers no support what so ever. Their excuse for everything is that they offer many resources. It’s beyond obvious that the resources don’t work. It’s amazing how much they charge for so many students to be failing. The worst part is they know your failing and don’t do anything to help you succeed. They tell you to... Read More

Do not go here if you have the option. Like others said, the school is more online than in person. First semester, we had 2 classes in person and 3 online. Patho, one of the most important classes for nursing, was online. Only thing we learned were th study guides for the exam. They have 1 online professor for 2-3 locations. So this 1 instructor lives in a satelite location and does a single 1hr skype lecture per week, and then a pre test review. There is no rapport. No learning about the ins and... Read More
