"First and foremost, Georgia has a rich history in education and education is the light of the world. I will want a school from this state to show me the light or pass the light to me or make me the beacon for generations to come. It’s willingness to make the cost of education quite reasonable is another pull to search for the light."

  • Degree: Organizational Leadership
"As an undergraduate student at Valdosta State University, I was able to transfer nearly all of the credits I earned by completing an Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration to my Organizational Leadership degree. In doing so, I was completed my bachelor's degree in one year after finishing my associate's degree. Valdosta offers online courses in eight-week sessions year round. These shortened courses gave me the flexibility to complete my degree in the timeframe I desired. Overall, the professors are very devoted to helping you succeed. During my time with the university, I was instructed by approximately fifteen different professors. Only one professor did not provide me with helpful feedback on my assignments. While an online format may seem like a different experience to many, Valdosta's faculty and staff go above and beyond to replicate an in-class experience online."

  • Degree: Library Science
"I believe that an online degree program is perfect for currently employed students, and Valdosta is a great choice for those who are working and getting their degree at the same time. Valdosta also has a great set of courses for your Master's in library science, and it can be personalized to your chosen career path, whether that be technology or public outreach focused. As someone who is choosing to focus on technology, working on my degree at Valdosta is a fantastic choice."
