"Entering my second year of the Graduate Program, I am nothing but satisfied. I have taken an amazing course load and made amazing connections. It is a great faculty, but they have a heavy workload just like the students. So far all professors have made time for me when I was available, but advising is worse than the professors. Not a big problem in the end, just must check your credits. Overall, great experience."

"The faculty are very knowledgable about their fields of interests, they are always available for the students, and really care about the academic quality of the program."

"The best thing about this program is that the faculty members really care about the students as individuals. If you want to learn, they will go out of their way to support you. They truly care about developing the next generation of public administrators."

  • Degree: Law
"The pros of Villanova Law include its being in an amazing area around Philadelphia, so it draws it faculty and speakers from a diverse pool of professionals to help its students. Students also get to experience both the suburbs and the city for social fun and professional opportunities. The cons involve the expense of tuition (partially offset by their large scholarship fund) and especially the cost of living. The school does not provide on campus housing for grad students, and no real help in finding off campus housing."

  • Degree: Chemistry
"Villanova University's chemistry department is relatively small, thus there are pro's and con's directly related to its size. The chemistry master's program tends to draw smaller grants and financial support from the university's funds, so the labs tend to be outfitted with slightly dated technology. However the size of the program makes faculty extremely accessible and invested in the small student population. The academic support is terrific, and the classes are competitive and interesting. Research opportunities are extremely easy to find, and there are plenty of career opportunities for graduates."

"Villanova is highly accredited and definitely brings respect with your degree. Some of their policies are outdated and illogical but the faculty and staff will be in your corner."

"Only con is that there isn't a lot of financial aid at the graduate level. Other than that, the campus is beautiful, academic reputation is stellar, surrounding area is great... safe suburbs, with easy access into the city via public transit."

"Great academic reputation, dual degree programs allow you to be more competitive in the job market upon graduating, campus is beautiful, public transportation is easily accessible via train or bus. Not a lot of financial aid offered to first-year students, and surrounding area is pricey but in a very upscale and safe neighborhood."

"Great availability of professors and faculty, school has an outstanding academic reputation. Price of tuition and cost of living in the surrounding area are a bit high, but you get what you pay for!"

"Villanova's graduate program in School Counseling is superb! As a second year student, I feel very supported by my professors at Villanova and ready for my future career. In my first year of study, I took core courses with students in the Mental Health track. This was an essential component of the program because I was able to make strong connections with other future professionals whom I may refer my students to for private counseling."

"I despise going there (I-76 is the arguably the worst highway ever designed), but I do enjoy my classes. The professors are helpful, friendly, and definitely know their stuff. Honestly, the only thing I don't like about Villanova is its location compared to mine (but that's mostly my fault- mostly. Villanova should probably move closer to Philadelphia if it wants to be cooler)."

"Whie I do enjoy Villanova's Applied Statistics program, I do despise driving on I-76 in traffic EVERY time I have to go. Howeveer, the academic program (thus far) seems to be just fine."

"Villanova law is a beautiful school! It is academically rigorous but professors are there to help as are the TA's. Despite the ranking, Villanova Law offers extraordinary academics and a widespread professional network."

"I keep hearing good things about Villanova, but I just can't seem to leave the convenience of the online Christian college. It's great that I don't have to worry about leaving the safety and comfort of my own home. I can work at my own pace and not have to wait to keep up with the rest of the class."
