"I've taken classes at Washtenaw on and off for decades, but the ST program is the only one I've finished there. I highly recommend WCC. When I first started attending my expectations were low because I'd spent about 2 years at the University of Michigan and anticipated WCC would be a loooong step down, but that's not the case. Almost every class I've taken there has been excellent, with great instructors, everything from Anatomy & Physiology, to Unix System Administration, to German, to provide just three examples. I can't speak to the counseling, financial aid services or job placement because I've never used them. (Actually the ST program that I graduated from in 2001 was the worst experience I've had at WCC...the woman running it was a tyrant and almost everyone dropped out because they couldn't put up with her. She quit at the end of the year and the program was closed at that time. I believe they now have a ST program again, and I know nothing about this new incarnation.)"

"I am entering into my last semester at Washtenaw and I am excited to be moving on and being closer to my Bachelors but I am sad that I will be leaving because this school is SO perfect. The instructors that I've had have been very helpful and they absolutely know the material that they teach even without a book in front of them. I had an excellent academic adviser that saw me through my entire educational process and made sure I took the proper classes. They have great student activities and clubs. I would've never thought a community college could be so amazing. I'm moving on to Eastern in the winter but I really wish I could continue at Washtenaw. This has been a great educational experience!"
