"The pros are excellent instructors, convenient evening class locations, 8 week courses are sufficient for learning material and preparing for presentation, papers, and exams. The cons are dealing with traffic to get to evening classes, one of the academic advisors was not the most friendliest and seemed very agitated, other academic advisors are very helpful and encouraging and patient."

"I currently attend Webster University on the Great Lakes Naval Base in Illinois. This program is designed for working adults who need to attend school in the evening. The only class that I have taken is economics, which I received a B+. I’m in the process of getting accommodations for my learning disability, which has been an easy process. The classroom size is very small and each student is able to get the attention that is needed. I never had an issue with contacting my instructor or advisor. Unfortunately, I am not able to score a few of the categories because I don't live on campus. I truly enjoy Webster and looking forward to graduating with my MBA in 2016."

"The biggest pro in achieving a Graduate level degree from Webster University is the support of the faculty. With class sizes under a dozen I really get the chance to pick to brains of my professors and enhance my own learning experience. The faculty in the music department are all quality musicians with reputable resumes that aren't afraid to challenge students when necessary; however, due too the school being a private university, scholarships are hard to come by. In addition, the webster groves area in St. Louis contains pricy living conditions with limited means of public transportation. All in all, students get a well rounded education and have a lot of resources to do their own research."

"I like how there are 5 semesters in an academic school year, although the classes are more accelerated, a student can take 12 credit hours in a regular school semester. The only down fall I fell is the tuition, it is basically doubled if you are full time."

"School works with you and is very helpful in achieving your goals. The staff is very friendly and I have felt welcome there from the moment I first walked in the door. The small class sizes are a plus and they have many campus locations as well as online education opportunities. The cost is a little high, but generally competitive with other schools and cheaper than some online degrees from lesser known schools."

"Webster University's Master of Arts in teaching program is an awesome program for individuals that have a bachelor's and want to be in the classroom as a teacher. The program is challenging but not overwhelming. Classes are 8 weeks long and meet once a week which is very convenient for people such as myself that have children and need to work. The staff is friendly and understanding and will give sound advice for circumstances related to your performance in the program. Webster has convenient technology facilities. There is a lab open 24 hours a day for the Webster student. During midterms and finals the library is open to 3am which is perfect for those late night studiers. I also appreciate the fact that all assignments are most times outlined on the syllabus so students know what to look forward to and they can start work at the beginning of the semester. Financial aid is an easy process and the staff is friendly and will help you with any questions or concerns about your financial aid. I would definitely recommend someone to be in this program if they wanted to become a classroom teacher and had already obtained their bachelors degree. I would caution them however to keep track of their own progress from admissions to graduation and make sure you have a clear understanding of your requirements. Be sure to keep a steady communication with your advisor as well. If a student were to do all this and take advantage of the resources available from Webster University they are sure to have an enjoyable, successful, and fulfilling experience."

"Studying music in the graduate program at Webster University means access to some of the finest performers, composers and scholars the mid-West has to offer. The faculty are supportive and accessible, providing ample opportunity for the driven student to succeed. Nearly all have received advanced degrees from the finest institutions and are willing to network students with those programs for doctoral study. At this time, the scholarships & financial aid are poor for the graduate program; however, I know that efforts for improvement are being made in this area."

"There are not any negatives about Webster University!! I was raised in Saint Louis, but as Military Officer I now live in Texas. I knew Webster would be my choice for Master's Degree matriculation from the beginning. They have an excellent reputation in Saint Louis, as well as, in the military and I am certain the additional skills I learn will aid me in my transition from the military to the civilian sector."
