"I feel the pros of the osteopathic program at Western University of Health Sciences is that all lectures are recorded. Also there is a diverse student body and the teachers genuinely care about your success. The staff at Western U is very supportive and helpful. I feel at home here. The con is the location of the school. Pomona is not a safe area but the campus itself is. Another con is the price of tuition and the lack of scholarships for first year students."

"I was given a chance to go on the campus tour and was very impressed with the extensive curriculum, new facilities, and cleanliness of the campus. I am very eager to start attending their osteopathic school starting Fall 2013."

"The College of Veterinary Medicine program within Western University of Health Sciences is unique and challenging in that the program is founded on problem-based learning and evidence-based learning. The program exposes students to real-life cases where students are in group settings that advocate student independent learning as well as the importance of team-based communication. As a program that emphasizes problem-based learning, there are also many challenges that come along with it. Through this type of learning, the student must be able to find credible and accurate primary resourses for study as well as learn a study regiment that is appropriate for advancing their learning. This program teaches the student to be an independent learner, understand the importance of evidence-based learning as well as be able to work in group settings that promote team-based communication."
