"I believe the pros of this program is the professors want to be there and want you to be successful, and they are compassionate. The school is very professional!"

"Widener University was a great program for my dual degree experience. I was there for social work and education in human sexuality. The social work program had professors that were very knowledgeable and obviously studied their crafts outside of the classroom setting. Many of the teacher went above and beyond for the students and continue to keep in touch even after graduation. Other pros include flexible class, day and night time class offerings; knowledgeable staff, smaller class sizes, hands-on experience. A con that was sited by many of my class members though not personally experienced was the difficulty in securing an internship for additional experience and reconciling that with a full time work schedule. Please note, that the staff does attempt to work with those individuals who have full time jobs and other obligations. I did feel that there was sometimes a disconnect between the two programs that I was in, as they did not seem to communicate very much with one another. However, some of those issues were alleviated by having an advisor who straddled both programs and knew how to navigate them both."

"My graduate program is an extremely competitive program. It is very challenging, yet do-able. The program requires a lot of time during class and then encourages group studying outside of classes. The professors are very helpful and bright."

"The Human Sexuality program at Widener University is amazing! The professors are deeply invested in their students, the lectures are engaging and informative, the work is challenging and interesting. Our program is full of a wide array of people and it just keeps getting better. I'm so excited to be a part of a program that cares so much about their students!"

"Widener is a wonderful school. I got my BA there. The people and the faculty make it a great place to attend. It is not easily accessible by public transportation. As an adult student, the Financial Aid Office could be more flexible. Like most campuses, life on campus is fine. You need to have your "city savvy" on when it comes to the surrounding area. The Graduate Program is flexible for adults."

"I think the faculty is great and are all renowned physical therapists that are eager to help all students succeed in this field. We also have a student run pro bono clinic that is a great learning experience for all students who help out. The only con about my school is the surrounding area of Chester. However, being in a less affluent area, we get many individuals in the area who come to the pro bono clinic, which is great for the students because we can take what we learn from the classroom and apply it in real life situations."

"Outstanding faulty, however little outside interaction with students. Little guidance with class registration or graduation requirements."
