I liked that I could take online classes and classes at satellite locations so that I didn't have to travel too far from home! The classes were very helpful to my area of study."

The only down side is that they do not offer scholarships to graduate students. Loans are available through PHEAA."

"The Instructional Media program at Wilkes University is paired with Discovery Education. I feel that this program's most positive feature is its flexibility. The courses are entirely online - a very important pro for a full-time teacher. The classes may also be taken in any order, so prerequisites do not stand in your way of registering for a class you need. Unfortunately, there is no financial aid or scholarships available to graduate students in this field. Happily, the competitive tuition rates do not make attending this institution prohibitive.Read Less"

"Wilkes offers many different graduate education programs - the new middle level education program is exactly what I wanted and the faculty is great - very helpful and they really want you to succeed. I also took the certification program years ago and that was also a great program with amazing teachers."
