"I think the literacy Grad program is great for someone who is teaching full-time. Students are able to take classes online or in the evening on campus. The class schedule is very flexible and conducive to someone that is working full-time. The program can however be somewhat cumbersome, as student's are required to take four classes the first semester of Grad school. It is also much more expensive than undergraduate tuition."

"Some pros of this graduate program is that the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) boards has a 100% pass rate. Most of the students in the program have job offers even before graduation. This is one of the few ACNP programs that has a specialty in cardiology training. Also, another pro is the tuition is very competitive with similar programs. The only con that I can think of is that this program is very difficult, but with that said I study more and learn more. Going along with the hard nature of the program my social life has suffered. However, graduating, passing my boards and feeling prepared to be a ACNP is worth losing some of my social life."

"I have really enjoyed the courses that I were required for this program because they were necessary for whatever research that you were doing. I also liked that I was able to work and had time to take part in campus organizations as well as take classes that I was interested in that would be able to help me finish my thesis on emancipated foster youth. A con for me was that it focused too much on research methods and not on anything that would help me find a job after the program."

"Not too bad of a grad program. I feel like the faculty are indifferent about helping their students graduate. However, they are responsive if you reach out first and more often."

"I am enrolled in the SOPP program at Wright State University. I feel the strengths of the program are the supportive faculty, generalist training, and emphasis on diversity issues. Some of the weaker parts of my program are the traveling that is required for classes, minimal campus activities, and little focus on research in the area of study."

"WSU is a decent school, but it is ranked around 120 from US News in Engineeing. It is definitely commutter based and more cost-friendly. Close relationship with the nearby Air Force base and other colleges like University of Dayton develop research and working opportunities."

"The pros are that the program offers hands on experience, and that the teachers will be able to assist all students when needed. The cons are that the tuition is a little expensive and the campus is very large."
