Alcorn is a very diverse school even though it's an Hbcu with a very lively campus . The biology departments has an array of Nationally known as well as internationally known professors. And that always give you more than enough info in each class. On each level they push you to better yourself and they keep an overall positive environment for learning.

Alcorn gave me the opportunity to enter into the word of work with a very good foundation in Mass Communication. This degree aided me in being able to go into the public health field where I specialized in STD/HIV/AIDS education, prevention and research. That degree enabled me to work contractually with federal entities specific to the HIV pandemic in surrounding states.
