Salary and Debt by Major at Berklee College of Music

We calculated a Salary Score for each of Berklee College of Music's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. This way, students can compare the relative salary strength of a specific major at Berklee College of Music to the same major at other schools. A school's overall score by level is based on the school's by-program performance weighted by student enrollment in each program. Data is sourced from the December 2020 release of the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and reflects median alumni debt upon graduation and median alumni earnings in the year after graduation for students who received federal financial aid. Berklee is a wonderful music institution, where I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees! It is been a vital part of my education and career since I attend their summer programs back in 2004. I chose this institution to be a vocal performance major, but it was also important that I would be able to learn about other areas of music which included songwriting and music business. Berklee is a good school, but it's not for everyone. Definitely think twice about money before you come here. It is very likely that you won't make enough money to cover the cost of college even 10 years after college, especially if you are an international student. However, most students enjoy being here. The vibe is very nice and I do learn lots of stuff in my major.
