I believe that it is extremely benifical to and that most people should attend a community college before attending a 4 year college because it gives them time and experience to decide what they want to major in, it is less expensive, and it can get humanity requirements out of the way so that the (more expensive) classes that you pay to take at a 4 year college are ones that you want to take and that count towards your major.
