Salary and Debt by Major at College of the Desert
We calculated a Salary Score for each of College of the Desert's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. This way, students can compare the relative salary strength of a specific major at College of the Desert to the same major at other schools. A school's overall score by level is based on the school's by-program performance weighted by student enrollment in each program. Data is sourced from the December 2020 release of the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and reflects median alumni debt upon graduation and median alumni earnings in the year after graduation for students who received federal financial aid. Debt and salary numbers are shown rounded to the nearest $10.

First of all let me start off by saying COD does not offer a Dental Hygiene program,I was just trying to complete my GE there to transfer out. The counselors did not help me get the classes I needed, the actually placed me in lower level classes (so I can get used to college level course work), even though I placed in higher level classes. The financial aid department was terrible too, I attended COD for almost 3 years and my financial aid never set in, luckily I was working so I was able to pay for my classes... Read More
I have had the best experience of my life through COD! From counselors to professors, I was given direction from every one I have had the pleasure to meet and work with. Every member of this college's staff has had every good intention of helping their students excel and succeed on their pathway of life.
