Fantastic school. Great teachers, small community but many musical opportunities in Southwest Florida. The Bower School of Music is a beautiful building and many alums have gone on to play piano at Carnegie Hall or sing opera with various regional companies.
The four years that I spent at Florida Gulf Coast were the best years of my life. If you work hard and demonstrate initiative to take advantage of opportunities you will prosper. The small school environment provides great visibility for those that work hard. I worked hard and did well in school and because of that, I stood out.
