Instructors in the MA Counseling program have been good/great. But they are all adjuncts so the school has trouble attracting and retaining, and very few have PhD. The MAC program is disorganized and badly-run and it's hard to avoid driving all over the state to get the required classes. Administration and advising staff provide little-to-no support in finding internships or resolving problems. Lakeland College was a warm and inviting institution that fulfilled all my academic needs. All the professors were involved in the success of each student. Smaller class sizes showed that we were more than just someone filling a seat. As a student athlete I found the curriculum to be challenging but feasible for those who were dedicated to their own success in the classroom.
