Salary and Debt by Major at Lehigh University

We calculated a Salary Score for each of Lehigh University's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. This way, students can compare the relative salary strength of a specific major at Lehigh University to the same major at other schools. A school's overall score by level is based on the school's by-program performance weighted by student enrollment in each program. Data is sourced from the December 2020 release of the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and reflects median alumni debt upon graduation and median alumni earnings in the year after graduation for students who received federal financial aid. Debt and salary numbers are shown rounded to the nearest $10.

Lehigh is a school that embraces versatile points of view and truly wants its students to create their own path to success. I believe that Lehigh gave me the building blocks to become a leader and better professional in any field of practice. They not only created great opportunities for the student body to express itself, but also fostered friendships and a community that will last.

Overall, I would say that this program of study at this institution is below average. It took me 3 years to complete as I was working full-time as a classroom teacher. I would say that I accumulated nearly $30,000 in school loans and there was no financial aid available to me. I applied to a handful of teaching assistant or graduate assistant positions and was never selected.
