This place is not what it used to be. The graduate level is a replica of the undergrad with less opportunity to challenge ideas, do research, and think critically. Classes are eight weeks and meet one night each week. Many students myself included complain that the program is too short at the end of each class. Other common complaints include lack of retention and application outside of the classroom. A degree isn’t a piece of paper though the university treats it as such. Lewis does indeed have an idyllic campus, with some of the best faculty to ever facilitate education. At Christmas every year, Lewis sends out fabulous cards to anybody with even a remote connection to the university, on very nice 120 pound card stock. Lewis also is at best capricious and at worst extremely inconsistent as to whom, as an administration, it favors, and whom it does not.
