Salary and Debt by Major at Murray State University

We calculated a salary score for each of Murray State University's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. This way, students can compare the relative salary strength of a specific major at Murray State University to the same major at other schools. A school's overall score by level is a weighted average of all of its program scores. Data is sourced from the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and was last updated in December 2020. I believe I received a top notch art education, but would have benefited from a minor in a field that I could have worked in post graduation. You run a risk when you major in Art, it just didn't pan out for me as a career. My overall experience with Murray State is that is was one of the best times of my life. I was active with the Racer Band, and joined the campus art group OMAS my senior year. I wish I had taken smaller course load and gotten more involved with groups. Murray State University is an outstanding university whose main goal is providing "education at its finest". I spent two years at Murray State, and I loved every minute of it. As soon as I stepped on campus, I felt extremely welcomed, and I felt like the professors and community really wanted me there as a student.
