Northeastern University's Top Rankings

Northeastern University is ranked on 24 lists of the best colleges by earnings one year out of college.

Salary and Debt by Major at Northeastern University

We calculated a salary score for each of Northeastern University's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. This way, students can compare the relative salary strength of a specific major at Northeastern University to the same major at other schools. A school's overall score by level is based on the school's by-program performance weighted by student enrollment in each program. Data is sourced from the December 2020 release of the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and reflects median alumni debt upon graduation and median alumni earnings in the year after graduation for students who received federal financial aid. Debt and salary numbers are shown rounded to the nearest $10.

Please do not attend if you are an international student! As an international student (which they ironically use advertise heavily in their favour) I felt unwelcome, and not cared about. From taking months to reply to my emails (for which I still do not have a reply, even after forwarding it repeatedly to higher levels of admin), and the lack of financial support (no scholarships or aid was available to me, purely due to my international status), I would not recommend any international student to go here.... Northeastern University is a great university known for i's co-op and job placements after graduation. Overall all, my experience was unique and I made long lasting friendships along the way. As both a first generation American, and first generation college student, I often times did not feel that I had the support that I needed while being a student there. Recently, things have changed, and there are student run support groups for low income and first generation college students. i wish that these groups... Read More
