Salary and Debt by Major at Northeastern University

We calculated a Salary Score for each of Northeastern University's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. This way, students can compare the relative salary strength of a specific major at Northeastern University to the same major at other schools. A school's overall score by level is based on the school's by-program performance weighted by student enrollment in each program. Data is sourced from the December 2020 release of the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and reflects median alumni debt upon graduation and median alumni earnings in the year after graduation for students who received federal financial aid. Debt and salary numbers are shown rounded to the nearest $10.

The school accepts anyone and everyone, this leads to classes full of people who just needed visas, work permissions or a way to get into the States. If someone is serious about networking and having classmates who are genuine about their learning, this is not worth at all. The school cares mostly about the expansion of campuses in different states rather than focusing on their admissions of worthy students.

Steer clear of this MS Econ with a data science concentration in Seattle. Academic advising has been non existent. Leaving after 1 semester, it has been a costly mistake. I started with 3 other students, 1 dropped immediately, the other student is also transferring, 2 international student remains. This program looks great on paper, in actuality, the data science courses are not readily available for students because of the high demand, econ electives do not exists. You will be given a list of substitute courses.... Read More
