Pfeiffer University is a tiny school about a hour outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. While North Carolina has a number of larger, and more well-known institutions, Pfeiffer has a very well connected Religion department. Classroom are small, with an average of about 15 student. This help creates a warm learning environment, which allows for better connections with staff and faculty. It was a small school, and I transferred there from a larger university. Small colleges have a lot more to offer than what students may think - there's more individual attention, relationships that can be easily built with staff and faculty, and many opportunities for leadership and career development.
