Salary and Debt by Major at Portland Community College
We calculated a salary score for each of Portland Community College's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. This way, students can compare the relative salary strength of a specific major at Portland Community College to the same major at other schools. A school's overall score by level is based on the school's by-program performance weighted by student enrollment in each program. Data is sourced from the December 2020 release of the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and reflects median alumni debt upon graduation and median alumni earnings in the year after graduation for students who received federal financial aid. Debt and salary numbers are shown rounded to the nearest $10.

This is a useless program. I did not get a career in biotech afterwards, they make it sound like it's a guarantee. Instead I was so severely stressed the entire time that I legitimately have a form of PTSD. Biggest mistake of my life. It is not disability friendly, and when I had panic attacks from the unfair conditions, I was treated like a child and embarrassed in front of the class. PCC itself has great disability services, but stay far, far away from the BIT program. Now I'm in debt and in a worse place... Read More
Worst college with the worst faculty!! Please save yourself and never take admission here because you are gonna regret your decision forever. The financial aid department is the worst, they STEAL YOUR FAFSA MONEY and DO NOT RELEASE IT. They don't care if you have the money to go there or not, they just see you as dollar signs and a number. Not helpful and not very unprofessional :). The teachers are not that involved and they tend to slack on homework and testing us!
