I am so appreciative of my time at Purdue University. It was everything I could have hoped for and more. I would say for psychology majors specifically, you have to go out of your way to carve out experiences for yourself. Purdue provides amazing opportunities for research, but any other type of hands on training you will have to find for yourself. I attended Purdue University because it was very close to home and many people in my family attended in the past. My degree was very science-based, so my courses in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Biochemistry were all in very big lecture halls. Although these were big classrooms, the professors still tried their best to answer individual student questions.
