Saint Martins University in Lacey charges way too much tuition for the quality of professors that teach. Be very wise in choosing a private school and please do one’s research. I wish I would have. There are many quality private schools and public universities that provide better education at a lower tuition that have quality professors that know their profession.
St. Martin's University is a small college with supportive and encouraging staff. The College of Education, like any university program, has some very strong professors, and others who were not so strong. My only complaint about professors would be lack of classroom experience. The classes and required practicums definitely prepared me for many of the aspects of being a teacher.
