Salary and Debt by Major at Sauk Valley Community College

We calculated a Salary Score for each of Sauk Valley Community College's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. Knowing my particular learning style, I was a bit apprehensive when the only workable section of Business Statistics for my schedule was offered on-line. I usually perform best in a traditional class environment. The combination of an on-line class and the challenging nature of the material to be covered contributed to my nervousness. The application, financial, and course selection processes were relatively simple. After the first semester, most "office" tasks can be completed online so you do not have to schedule multiple meeting each semester to maintain enrollment. This was helpful to me as I was working 30 hours a week when completing my degree.
