I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone who wants to pursue pre-dental, med or anything of the sort. There are very limited options when it comes to getting certain teachers. There is one physics teacher, and one organic chemistry teacher. Even the brightest students find themselves at risk for failing the class, and it's not hard to pick up on details through the grape vine. Read More she's on pension, the exams are unfair etc. I haven't got this far to experience it first hand, but to hear the vast majority of upperclassmen making the same complaints is a major red flag. In addition, many students don't even make it to medical school. I've met so many seniors on the pre-med track who won't even be going. In addition, many students have been financially duped in one way or another. Athletes are promised full ride scholarships and find themselves paying for room and board. Honors students are told that they are on full scholarship, yet despite the fact that the majority don't even dorm, they still had to dish money out to the school (eg lab fees). Many students are encouraged to apply for loans. Another experience I hear other people go through, and it's also one i've experienced myself is being told that the tuition costs a certain amount, yet when you actually get to the school you're paying more. Peronally, they refused to tell you how much it will cost for the whole year before I started. I asked so many questions and they dodged them like Donald Trump. They had my FAFSA and tax returns for weeks and couldn't even spit out an estimate. They subtract the 200 deposit you have to make from the overall for ONE TERM, and then you end up paying that plus 200. The financial aid department is tricky and greedy. I experienced difficulty getting my AP and CLEP credits to fall into place. Save yourself from the ruined future job prospects, debt, stress etc. Don't bother with this school.

St. Francis College is an awesome school to attend if you like small, intimate settings. It is kind of like a second family. You meet so many different people, and the professors tend to remember you by name. They are caring and seek to help you with every part of your education. I was always able to meet with professors and this helped me to stay focused and succeed. The financial aid department, and the registrar can be a hassle to deal with at times. They are generous with scholarships, although the tuition is constantly rising!
