Avoid the mechanical engineering technology department like the plague. It's still a little challenging and you learn a lot, however, the degree is essentially useless and they don't tell you that while your in. Either go for real engineering or just get a trade certification. I'm going back for a whole second bachelors because in actual mechanical engineering after I'm done, so learn from my mistakes. While I could write 50,000 words about how much I hate this department, I will say since it's the short bus... Read More

UALR was a very good college with professors very qualified in the fields they taught. They expected much from their students and required work and commitment from them. Each professor was different in how they ran their class, but each was available, whenever needed. If an assignment was done well, they would let you know. The classes are not too big, so that you feel comfortable speaking. I would recommend this school to anyone.
