Waste of money. Its the cheapest school I got into, and it is surely cheap. The money doesnt go anywhere it seems; the dorms are hellish, bathrooms are disgusting, the dining halls are a pathetic, the food is genuinely concerning, the lecture halls are antique, the professors are apathetic and mostly incompetent, the advisors dont care about you (that is assuming they actually speak the same language as you), the book store is sad, etc. I am convinced that the only reason why people go here is because its... My time at the University of Maine was the best four years of my life. I am so happy I made the choice I did. When I was trying to decide where to go to school, I was sure I wanted to leave the state. I wanted to get away, be a new person, and leave the old high school me behind. However, I ended up staying in state. Honestly, it was the best decision I could have made. The University of Maine has amazing programs and I got a wonderful education. More over, I saved money by having in-state tuition and not... Read More
