Great experience academically and socially with the added benefit of in state tuition. Academically diverse with options to not only focus on major but add additional areas of study. Campus is large and easy for anyone to find their niche. Dormitories we’re lacking when I was enrolled and many were forced off campus. Off campus provides few affordable and safe options. Since then, they have added more dormitories but not sure if it resolved the issue. Lots of development off campus ensure students have what... Read More

Receiving my Bachelors Degree in Studio Art at the University of Maryland- College Park was extremely rewarding. Obtaining a degree from such a well-known institution allowed me to have many job opportunities in the arts upon graduation. The professors that I had at UMD within the arts department were all excellent and challenged my artistic practice, which allowed me to grow in my style and intention while in this Undergraduate program. A few of my professors also connected me to individuals within the area,... Read More
