Salary and Debt by Major at University of Memphis

We calculated a Salary Score for each of University of Memphis's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. This way, students can compare the relative salary strength of a specific major at University of Memphis to the same major at other schools. A school's overall score by level is based on the school's by-program performance weighted by student enrollment in each program. Data is sourced from the December 2020 release of the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and reflects median alumni debt upon graduation and median alumni earnings in the year after graduation for students who received federal financial aid. Debt and salary numbers are shown rounded to the nearest $10.

The University of Memphis itself is great, however watch out for the School of Public Health. The professors only care about themselves and refuse to support their students. They talk about students poorly and will not assist them in finding jobs or scholarships. It is up to the student themselves to navigate the process. The degree is worthless and does not prepare you for any job. You do not receive opportunities to connect with others in the job market and professors actively go out of their way to sabotage... UofM offers online degree programs that cannot be completed. When the issue is brought up to the administration they admittedly know about the issue and have known for years, but refuse to remedy the problem. Instead you're told "too bad so sad" after you've spent years and thousands of dollars working towards a degree that you cannot complete. I have emails from multiple people at UofM who admit to the problem and having known about the problem. None of them offer any solutions to the student and instead... Read More
