During orientation much emphasis was placed on the fact that it would only take four years to complete a Bachelor's degree at this university. This is Certainly not the case! It is difficult if not impossible to get into classes for your major as the cases fill up quickly and then are closed. This semester I was only able to get in one class. The professors in my actual program were absolutely wonderful. I learned so much and got so much hands on experience and upfront knowledge from so many of my teachers. My mentor was a post-doc under my Marine Ecosystems professor who also acted as a mentor to me and I even got to have my undergraduate research published from their help.
