Salary and Debt by Major at University of Vermont

We calculated a Salary Score for each of University of Vermont's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. This way, students can compare the relative salary strength of a specific major at University of Vermont to the same major at other schools. A school's overall score by level is based on the school's by-program performance weighted by student enrollment in each program. Data is sourced from the December 2020 release of the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and reflects median alumni debt upon graduation and median alumni earnings in the year after graduation for students who received federal financial aid. Debt and salary numbers are shown rounded to the nearest $10.

Professors were great in class, good luck with office hours though. Financial aid nightmares. Students- When I visited, I thought it had a great vibe. What I found out was it was full of frat boys who will go work for their daddy’s business as they barely pass their classes. Sorority girls not much better (and I was in a national sorority) - cheating was rampant and partying was excessive. Rich playground of wanna be hippies. Burlington city is overrun by tweekers, homeless make it unsafe at night. Drug addiction... Read More

Enjoy being part of a bureaucracy, and lost in the shuffle. Also enjoy vastly overpaying for that experience as one of the most expensive public schools. Do go To school in Burlington if you enjoy Vermont but go to Champlain where you will have an awesome degree and placement in a career. If it’s about being exploited financially or you want to waste your families resources on a poor school then this is the best place to attend. They are the worst in the financial aid office, make sure the information you... Read More
