Salary and Debt by Major at Walden University

We calculated a salary score for each of Walden University's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. This way, students can compare the relative salary strength of a specific major at Walden University to the same major at other schools. A school's overall score by level is a weighted average of all of its program scores. Data is sourced from the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and was last updated in December 2020. It reflects median alumni debt upon graduation and median alumni earnings in the year after graduation for students who received federal financial aid.

I began my journey at Walden in December of 2012. The majorty of classs were great. They were challenging and I learned a lot.. But once I got to the dissertation process, it was a total chaotic joke. I wasted a year of my life and many tears and hours of frustration as I begged professors to consider being on my committee or to be be chair Funny about that so called degree completion year. I will say that the course work and expectations at Walden are very reasonable. My career altering issue is that after completion of the program, testing and job searching, it has been difficult to get privileges in certain areas. I have had jobs decline me from working with them because of a huge lack of response and communication between employers and the program directors. I believe I would have went a different track had I known my abilities would be limited from the schooling I received. Very disheartening... Read More
