I attended Youngstown State University and ultimately decided on general studies for my bachelors because of my credits being spread out among several subject areas. I focused primarily on public and allied health, but took courses in criminal justice and environmental science as well. My overall experience with the university was a good one, where I had caring professors, manageable coursework, and support in the form of tutoring in any subject area I struggled. small campus with affordable tuition. Major reason why i chose to receive my B.S degree here. YSU leadrship is pushing STEM....hard science, math engineer and math. The school has always been strong in those areas, not surprising given it's industrial heritage.
