"Not recommended at all, a total waste of money and time. One instructor in the I/O program in particular is extremely unprofessional, rude and incompetent. I don't know why they keep that person as a faculty member. It's also ridiculous how this school insists in completing a social justice practicum while the students struggle to complete their assignments on time. Overall, a joke of institution."

"I wish I could rate zero. Please do your research before giving your money to this school. I have 2 issues, 1 is an extremely uncomfortable vibe one of the teacher gives and allows to go on when it comes to men. I have never felt so uncomfortable in all my life in a classroom setting than I have with *****. So unprofessional, and if you say anything to anyone, then they will do everything they can to sweep it under the rug and tell you to move on. Next, there is a professor that will just give you A's in class that should be taken seriously whether you do the work or not. Again if you report it, they will do everything to hide it. If you are seriously considering it, ask them why the graduation rate is so damn low."

"I personally enjoyed my academic journey at Adler. As a doctoral student now, I can only thank the faculty advisors and other professors at Adler for their continuous support. The curriculum was practitioner-based and overall it was a great learning experience."

"Adler University offered a great online environment with a fulfilling classroom feel. Although I was not in an actual classroom, the discussions were lively and gratifying. The teachers were always available for helping and had a response rate of fewer than twenty-four hours. It appeared the program was well built and had plenty of structure to which allotted for an excellent academic ambiance. The program contained courses that enriched my mind on the military and the struggles the warriors have been facing for a long time. I felt the program is helpful for students who want to continue their education to become a psychologist or a clinical counselor. The materials taught in this program are tools that are going to open doors later on for many who complete the program. One of the most significant challenges of the online application for myself was the final capstone project, but Adler University taught me how to conqueror assignments I might have felt uneasy with at any other school. Adler University offers a high-quality academic environment. If anyone is looking for teachers who care, a vibrant learning atmosphere and a satisfying challenge than Adler University is the school for you. The Online environment at Adler University is excellent for anyone who has a busy schedule and is looking to continue their education around their agenda. I enjoyed being able to go on vacation, while still able to fully complete all of my assignments."

"My program was online. I was able to work a full-time job while completing my degree. The instructors were very knowledgeable and responded to every question I had. The structure of the online program Adler uses is great (the app too!) I was able to pull up assignments from wherever I was. The coursework was closely tied to what I will be doing in my professional career. I feel like I will use everything I learned."

"The professors and staff at Adler are incredibly professional and helpful. They were especially understanding when it came to my military schedule interfering with some of the papers and projects that were due. The discussion generated online was always lively and added greatly to the overall experience."

"Adler University has provided me numerous opportunities to excel in both my civilian and military careers. I am eventually aiming to secure a job in the Operational Sector in order to best use the skills gained from both combat as well as the university to best of my ability. Easing the mental pains of my battle brothers."

"The courses were challenging and required the mandated readings along with outside research which really opened the field and outcomes available which can transfer into knowledge and experiences. The professors allowed for open discussion without fear of any political or societal fallout, this allowed for in depth, open, intelligent conversation with solid research foundations and outcomes."

"Adler University is a great educational institution. I am only six month into the program and have been enjoying every course and professor so far. The courses are engaging and relevance to my personal perceptions/ understandings. The professor have extension experience and expertise while still being just a phone call and email away. The University is focused on social responsibility of individuals as it relates to the society that we are a part of. The program that I am in is the Industrial/ organizational psychology program. This direction gives me the opportunity to learn how to lead, consult and overall support different companies to be able to guide them into making socially responsible choices for their stakeholders and anyone that can be effected by their decisions. I believe that it is necessary to understand how intertwined we are with the world around us and it is important for us to take ownership of our actions. Adler University has definitely encouraged this perspective to the degree we choose and makes graduate school no as overwhelming as some may think."

"The admissions department was friendly and welcoming. They answered all my questions and were easy to contact (either via telephone or email). I was updated about my application status. I was also informed on how financial aid can look like, course and schedule structure. All before I was accepted! Their insight and willingness to ensure I was prepared made my decision easy."

"The online Military Psychology program at Adler University includes a well-rounded course curriculum that is really preparing me for my future career as a military psychologist. The faculty are all experienced in the field, and are very helpful in offering constructive feedback on assignments, and bringing personal experience to the class which the students can learn from. The school offers several avenues for students to get support, even though I am taking my classes online and never actually interact in person with my classmates, I never feel alone! There is always someone available to answer questions and it feels like I'm in a real classroom at times. I have even become friends with several of my long distance classmates, as they really encourage everyone to get to know each other. It's great!"

"Adler University online programs offer the opportunity to pursue a graduate degree in a time frame that is suited to your career and family life. Because the technology is advanced, and instructors utilize the most current available methods, you do not feel that you are in the typical online program! Every person associated with my program from financial aid to instructors, has been supportive and helpful every step of the way. I have always received a response to questions within 24 hours, and the level of communication Adler is committed to is phenomenal. I would definitely suggest Adler's online degrees to anyone who wishes to pursue their graduate degree, but is concerned with the time it may take to obtain!"

"I am an AD military member and I am currently working on a graduate degree in I/O Psychology online and I love attending Adler University. I also love the fact that I only have to attend one course every 8 weeks and my program is with the same class members. The instructors and the student dashboard are excellent sources. The dashboard is very user friendly and easy to maneuver. The course allows you the ability to study information and still have the freedom to formulate your own opinions in regards to the information you have learned. You will generally have your discussion topics due on Sat and essays/papers due on Tuesdays over the 8 week period. You will have to put aside time to read but it is still manageable, even for myself being active duty. Adler also encourages and allows the ability for you to communicate with staff and other alumni within the course in the form of virtual conference calls and allows you to ask questions that you may have in regards to the program or life after the program. They also dedicate time to what they call Adler TV which has a library of videos on different topics for students to review to help assist them while in their program. They also are constantly advertising internship opportunities that could help students gain the experience portion of their education. Overall as a new graduate student at Adler University, I love everything about the school and my program."

"As an International Student, there aren't a ton of funding opportunities available. Otherwise, my first impression of the school (I only started this semester) has been positive. Great environment and friendly/helpful profs/peers."

"My graduate program is very focused on diversity and training culturally competent mental health professionals. The curriculum often includes a diversity element within every class that I believe is beneficial for the future of all mental health professionals in the United States and the world as a whole. Our location is in the center of downtown Chicago and our campus is beautiful and clean, but also has a very intimate environment. The one drawback is that there are several milestones each student must complete within the program and they typically are due in the middle of the semester. This deadline makes the already heavy and stressful workload even more intense due to the tendency of students to put their classes and practicum responsibilities on the back burner for several weeks as they work to complete a milestone assignment by the deadline."

"I have been accepted into the program, and have yet to begin classes. Thus far the only con is the cost, which is why I have been applying for scholarships to help fund my education."
