"The pros: The professors are top-notch, My cohort is very compassionate, however, very competitive, and we push as well as support each other to complete our workload. The cons: I'm on permanent disability from being involved in a terrible car accident and money's very tight. Being a student at 52 years of age has its disadvantages, like not having parents to help support! which is why I'm applying for scholarships. Alliant international University is the best school for MFT amongst other things. Thank you"

"Alliant is an excellent school for grown and development as a professional. The faculty all are licensed therapist with a current case load. Their mission is to help students learn to think critically in all situation. Alliant's CFT program is designed for working professionals. All of the courses are held in the evenings which allows students time to gain experience in the field. The Sacramento campus is not large. The building is a shared space with a local news station. This helps keep cost down and also allows for small class sizes. The space does not look impressive but the faculty make up for the small space."

"The Marriage and Family Therapy program was great, especially because of the cohesiveness it offered and small-community feel. The faculty was very supportive and invested in having the students be their best when representing both the school and field out in the community. It allowed the opportunity to make connections with other students and to create new friendships because of the nature of the field, the number of students per class, and the opportunities for collaborative assignments. I transferred from another program because a friend recommended this one and have never looked back. I am proud to call myself an alum of Alliant."
