"Overall, truly poor experience with the university so far. The registrar's office does not appear to do their job with enrollment status, as they clearly state they will. The field work experience for the MSW program is a very poor process that limits students' opportunities rather than encourage them, as well as the process of setting up the internship once accepted can take months which then affects future employers. I'd recommend looking elsewhere."

"Aurora has really given me the educational foundation in the area of social work to improve myself and build a very well rounded educational experience. The professors are wonderful and have a true interest in their students not just the coursework. All departments at Aurora from Admissions to Professors have been wonderful in taking time to explain in e-mail or in person. Aurora has become more than a university for myself but a support system for me achieving my goals in my education"

"Aurora University is an amazing educational establishment. They have very clean academic buildings on a small and very safe campus. The atmosphere is very friendly and the program is highly accredited. I have never had a problem with the staff and the financial aid office, as well as all other offices on campus, have very friendly staff who will do everything they can to assist you."

"This is my second semester at Aurora University pursuing my Master Degree is Social Work. Aurora University offers lots of opportunities in Social Work such as dual specialization and convenient schedule. Professors spend as much time as needed with students and provide research in future career."

"What finalized my decision to apply for Aurora University's MSW program is that they offer a part time option and most of the courses are offered at night and weekends. I am working full time while pursuing my degree, so having the option to complete night classes part time allows me to continue to work and maintain a light course load that won't interfere with my work. The professors are knowledgeable and have worked in the field, so they have excellent guidance to offer. The only con is that the program is expensive in comparison to the public universities within the state."

"All of the professors are very personable and very involved in the quality of our learning. I have never felt as though a teacher did not care about my learning and my overall experience. The work load is reasonable and the content is strong and applicable. However, communication is lacking in administration and registration and it takes a long time to get a response with information."

"Aurora University is a great liberal arts school of study. I am currently attending for my MSW. There are many classes and there are many specialties that one can graduate with. The instructors are very helpful and approachable. They offer day and night courses to fit in any schedule."

"I am currently in the MSW program at George Williams College through Aurora University. I have only been in the program for a few weeks, but I love the program. The classes are small and the instructors are learning who we are as individuals. They are focused on helping us succeed. The class is very diverse and I am impressed with the program. I look forward to continuing my education with them."

"I enjoy attending graduate school. It has worked great around my schedule. They are flexible, have weekend courses, small classes, and the professors have a great wealth of knowledge. Some times it's difficult to communicate with staff due to many being part time employees."

"This school does have fantastic professors as well as a few incompetent professors, just as any program does. This school does emphasize the ethical issues that surround social work. And this school and their professors encourage their students to learn more information about self, so as to be self-aware when helping clients. The school is located in a very safe neighborhood with free street parking. Unfortunately, most of the students live in the Aurora area, so networking can be difficult if you are not from the area."
